About Our Optometrist, Dr. Metayer

Dr. Roxanne Parker Metayer, O.D. has been practicing optometry in Windham since she opened the office doors for the first time in October of 1985. The focus of her practice is quality eye care for all members of the family.

Dr. Metayer is a Connecticut native who graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Quinnipiac University. From there, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in May of 1985 at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Metayer and her husband reside in Windham and have two boys. She is an active member in the community including being involved as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America program for over ten years, at both the Cub and Troop level.
